You know, I thought the Universe and I had a deal. We play the opening of the Final, and then the Universe sees fit to have Scotland win like they bloody well should have. Guess the Universe wasn't really listening?

Can you marry a guitar? I would absolutely marry Ligeia. Thelxiepeia has to be rebuilt a bit, and Peisinoe doesn't seem to take too well to being restrung (we're working on it), but Ligeia is perfection. So, in celebration of my continuing new love, I thought I'd do another of my little polls.
Question: What's one thing you've seen shopping that you just had to have? And were you as happy with it after you had it?

If that was a prank, it was a bitch of one. Pranks, in my humble opinion, are supposed to be funny.

For the record, I've seen Kirley's guitars and I've seen the majority of Weirdies who try to launch themselves at him after shows. Most nights it's a toss up, but there are some situations in recent memory that I would definitely choose the guitars, too.
Of course, he is the old man of us all - he should take what he can get. If he doesn't, I give it a few more months before he's humping the legs of everything in sight like that dog of his. |

| | The Hobgoblins | ] | The auction last night was fairly brilliant. I don't know who the MAO has planning these things, or maybe it was someone from the club, but they definitely know how to put together a party.
And doing the acoustic set was a sort of fun I haven't had in a while - reminded me of being in Hogwarts, except then it was playing in the corner of the common room and having other Ravenclaws throw things at me because they were trying to study. It's quite a bit more fun when you're not being hit with books, actually. I don't think I'll be branching off to a solo career any time soon, though, not nearly as interesting on stage without my best mates. The disappointed fan mail I've gotten by owl this morning, though, was not nearly as much fun. To whoever was expecting it, I apologize - but I never had any intention of auctioning off myself as a date. Last time I did that, I was twenty-one and I ended up with a hag from Brighton who wanted me to take her on the ferris wheel for six hours. There's only so much cotton candy a man can stand.
I'm interested, though.
I used to use this journal for some fun little things, surveys and the like. So, here's the question for today: How much would you be willing to bid on an evening with me? (Careful, now, my ego's a sensitive thing!)

I've 20 Galleons on Portree tomorrow. Meghan, you best be getting a lot of rest tonight. If you need any help relaxing, you can come over for a bit - I'll give you a massage we won't be able to tell your brother about.
That said, it's been a while since I've done a poll here, and here's a simple one for you.
1. Which Quidditch team do you cheer for? 2. Why?
And for any of you Weirdies who don't follow Quidditch at all, a bonus question: 3. Are you mad?

I hereby swear that I am never drinking again. That is a giant lie, of course, but I've definitely got a mind for moderation, now. At least Gideon's always good for impromptu moving.

I'm a fan of polls and quizzes if you haven't learned by now (I'm sure that one of the fan newsletters had a focus on that last year, does anyone remember? I tend to forget those types of things.)
This time, though, since I've no stake in it, I thought that instead of multiple choice, I'd just ask a few questions and see what types of answers I get.
1. What's your favourite thing about the holiday season? 2. What's your favourite holiday song? 3. What's your favourite holiday food?
Now, as a caveat, if your answer to number one is also your answer to number two or number three, you ought to be a little more creative! Looking at those, I have a feeling that the answers are going to make me feel nostalgic and hungry.
Also, good show Ravenclaw! I don't know the details of the match, but it's always nice to hear that your old House has taken a game. And pretty dramatically too, I gather from the journal-type celebrations and all. If there was ever a way for the Ravenclaw to celebrate well, it was in print.

I have to admit, this is one of the more useful things that has hit me in the face to wake me up. Sodding owl.
Anyway, like the other blokes said, this is a good way to keep in touch with the fans, let the proud Weirdies (and the even prouder Barbarians!) see a little bit more of our inner thoughts and all. Which I think is brilliant! And I plan on taking advantage of it. So, ladies and gents, we have a little auction coming up that we're donating items to. If you were going to bid on something signed by yours truly, which would you be willing to spend more on? Remember, it's for a good cause.
Here are your options.
1. A signed promo picture from the Teen Witch spread I did last summer. 2. A signed Weird Sister tee-shirt. 3. A signed guitar, that I've definitely played though absolutely not one of mine.. 4. A signed pair of jeans that I've pulled out of my closet.
Cast your vote - I need help deciding what to donate!
